From the fractured volcanic soils of Napa’s Broken Rock Vineyard, we found a Cabernet that felt like it already belonged to us. Dark, sharp-edged, and unapologetically bold — a mirror of obsidian itself.

2021 gave us fruit with power and tension, a vintage built on extremes. What came out of it isn’t polite. It’s layered, volcanic, and alive with intensity — black fruit, graphite, smoke, and a depth that lingers long after the glass is empty.

This isn’t a wine for display. It’s a bottle meant to be opened, shared, and remembered — a ritual carved from fire and stone.

Technical Notes

  • Vineyard: Broken Rock Vineyard, perched on Napa Valley’s eastern ridge at the base of Atlas Peak.
  • Soils: Shallow, rocky soils of volcanic origin, laced with gravel and basalt, forcing deep root growth and naturally low yields.
  • Elevation: ~800–1,200 feet — above the valley floor fog line, with cool mountain air balancing warm afternoon sun.
  • Farming: Small, hand-farmed blocks producing intensely concentrated Cabernet fruit.
  • Vintage: 2021 — a year defined by low yields and long hang time, yielding structured, powerful wines with freshness and depth.

Champagne

Crafted in France. Built to be remembered.

COUP Champagne is made under the direction of fifth-generation winemaker Gilles Dumangin in the Montagne de Reims region of Champagne, France. Every bottle comes from Premier Cru vineyards, aged for four years, and blended with equal parts Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Meunier.

Fresh, structured, and expressive—expect yellow fruit, crisp green apple, and a whisper of toast. It’s bold enough to stand on its own, but smooth enough to bring everyone in.

This isn’t champagne for tradition’s sake. It’s champagne for self-expression.

Pop it, swirl it, saber it, sip it, spit it… or just stare at it while pretending you’re sophisticated.

Chigny-les-Roses, Montagne de Reims, Champagne, France.

FAQ

What’s the fastest you can deliver?
Order by noon PST, and we can have it as early as tomorrow. Just select express shipping at checkout.

What’s the standard delivery time?
We take 3 business days to hand-pack your order, plus shipping time. UPS Ground takes 1–5 business days depending on your address.

Can I upload my logo or custom artwork?
Yes—just make sure your artwork is high-resolution and converted to black and white. Engraving is etched onto a black metal plate, not printed—so gradients, fine shadows, and color details won’t carry over.

Do you offer discounts for large orders?
We don’t do discount codes—but we do have a corporate membership program that lets you earn store credit as you go.

Do you ship internationally?
Yes—we currently ship to the UK and Quebec and Ontario Canada. The list keeps growing, so reach out for the latest countries.

Do you offer a zero alcohol option?
Yes. Our zero-alcohol COUP is crafted from dealcoholized Chardonnay & Pinot Noir, and still brings the ritual, expression, and edge—without the buzz. Contact us at concierge@coupchampagne.com for more information.
